Child playing in a tiny house

School Meals

The food children eat at school plays an important role in their wellbeing, and eating a well-balanced diet will not only maintain and improve their health, but will also set them on the right track for later life.

ABM Catering

Working in partnership with ABM catering, we give children the confidence they need to build on and expand their knowledge of health and diet. We aim to encourage children to explore a variety of different foods, forming a healthy view on eating habits from day one.

Every day, children are offered a wide range of choice, including main, vegetarian and jacket potatoes.

Our school meals are cooked on the premises; they are prepared from organic, locally sourced ingredients.

Payment should be made through Arbor. Log in to your School | Arbor

Meals presently cost £2.80 per day per child. Usernames, passwords and support are available from the School Office.

Free school meals are provided for children of parents in receipt of Income Support and Child Tax Credit (with no award of Working Tax Credit) and Income Based Jobseekers Allowance.  An official application Form (BR35W) must be completed, copies of which are obtainable from the School or Education Office.  No distinction exists in the School between children who pay and those who receive free meals.
